Arizona Family Fit Camp
As an athletic trainer and fireman, respectively, Jason Paladino and Jon Binsbacher understand the value of physical fitness. They founded Arizona Family Fit Camp to get their own kids exercising during the summers, and since then the program has blossomed to incorporate exercises and health education for children ages three and up. Over the course of two months each summer, athletes from local colleges and high schools lend a hand, to coach kids through healthy activities, sharpening their speed, endurance, and flexibility. The program also places an emphasis on forming beneficial nutrition habits so kids eschew unhealthy foods in favor of fruits, vegetables, and green-colored candy.
