Scouting Report

The Philadelphia Soul return to Wells Fargo Center for their first home game of the 2015 AFL season, which they hope to dominate under the continued leadership of quarterback Dan Raudabaugh. During his tenure, the Soul have never missed the playoffs, and they’ve also appeared in the ArenaBowl twice. Last season the team played in the AFL’s toughest division, yet they still made it to the playoffs without using a single wish from the team genie. The game against the Orlando Predators on May 8 should prove a solid test of the Soul’s strength, as the Predators reached the American Conference championship game last season.

Philadelphia Soul

The Philadelphia Soul have been a fixture in the AFL for a decade, earning six trips to the postseason and three ArenaBowl appearances. All of the team’s hard work built to a head in 2008, when they claimed victory in ArenaBowl XXII, defeating the San Jose SaberCats 59–56 and earning the right to replace the plastic Foster Trophy in their trophy case with a real one. The team plays its home games at Wells Fargo Center, which they share with the city’s professional hockey and basketball teams.
