The Scouting Report
When the Philadelphia Soul rumbled into the playoffs last year, they did so with an undefeated record and the American Conference’s number-one seed. Although they were ultimately knocked out in a nail-biter against the Jacksonville Sharks, it’s likely that they’ll have another chance to earn the crown this year. After all, they’ve never missed a playoff since quarterback Dan Raudabaugh took the reins in 2012. But they’ll certainly have some stiff competition. During 2016’s home opener, they’ll face off against the Jacksonville Sharks, led by returning quarterback R.J. Archer, and later, the Rattlers will attempt to grab a bit of the Soul as well—and their own impressive ArenaBowl record suggests a tight match.
