Pin-Ups on Tour
During World War II, pictures of pin-up models notoriously boosted morale among the troops. Now, as pin-up girls dressed to the nines and undressed to the fours pose in photos and dance in nostalgic musical revues, they’re raising funds for veterans’ healthcare and care packages for the troops. At live events, the crowd is encouraged to join the spectacle by donning vintage attire.
In addition to raising funds, the gals even make the occasional personal visit to veterans’ hospitals. Their glitzy but heartfelt work has been spotlighted on major media outlets including Fox, ABC, PBS, The Military Channel, and The Queen Latifah Show.
