What constitutes a "special event"?

Joe F.  asked on  Mar 20, 2012

A:

Thanks for the question!

There are many performances not considered Special Events on the Improv's calendar, which you can find by going here. Enjoy!

A:

You have to look at our calendar at www.Improv.com and if the show says "Special Event" next to it, it is a special event.

Q:

1. What does it mean to get a voucher for 4 shows? What do you pay to turn a voucher into tickets? I want to buy this for a gift for my son, but his name will not be on the groupon. How will he redeem it?

Eileen D.  asked on  Mar 20, 2012

A:

I believe when you purchase the Groupon, you can put it in his name but you still pay for it. When you buy the deal you get a voucher to print off and use for 2 tickets to the Improv, non special event show. You call and make the reservation for the show you want to attend and when you check in at the box office the night of that show you will get a voucher for the free appetizer and 2 more vouchers good for 2 tickets each to upcoming shows. Does this make sense?
