The golfers of the Web.com Tour (formerly the Nationwide Tour) will drive, pitch, and putt their way to birdies and pars across Highland Springs Country Club’s course, competing for a share of the $625,000 prize purse at the Price Cutter Charity Championship. The tournament tees off on Thursday, August 9, beginning a four-day competition to determine who will take the title from defending champion David Friesen. The winner will ascend the Web.com Tour standings with the hope that at season’s end they will be among the developmental Tour’s top 25 players and earn their berth into the PGA Tour. Former champions include Stewart Cink and Chris DiMarco, who won the tournament in 1996 and 1997, respectively, before moving on to careers in which both have been ranked among the Top 10 players in the world and were selected to multiple Ryder Cup teams, cementing their status as two of the United States’ best golf players and contributing to theories that they the drank mystical water from Jack Nicklaus’s hot tub.

Missouri Sports Hall of Fame

Busts of Stan Musial, Lou Brock, Ozzie Smith, and Jack Buck line the Legends Walkway outside the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame. But the museum spotlights more than just baseball history. Its inductees hail from the high school, collegiate, and professional ranks, including players and coaches from the Rams, Chiefs, Royals, and Blues. Highlights of the many exhibits and articles of sports memorabilia include the Budweiser NASCAR car, the wing dedicated to the Missouri Valley Conference, and the pole that Paul Bunyan used to vault over the St. Louis Arch.

New owners, new waiters and a breakfast buffet! Food was good and the new owners are really trying hard to ... Read More

We arrived late and stood near the door. We where watching the servers bringing out food and to our amazement ... Read More
