Professional Rough Stock Rodeo
On October 18, some of the nation’s top riders charge into Salina Bicentennial Center for Professional Rough Stock’s third-annual Midwest Classic rodeo. Each of the evening’s three main events—bareback riding, saddle bronc, and bull riding—features acclaimed cowboys from around the region. Former world champion and current bareback points leader Justin McDaniel seeks to maintain his bareback dominance without resorting to supergluing himself to the steed. PRS points leader JJ Elshere leads the saddle-bronc pack and defending PRS world champion McKennon Wimberly looks to outshine the rest of the bull-riding field.
