R&B Rewind Jam
- Blackstreet: Deemed “the original rump-shakers” by Dr. Dre, who produced their mega-hit “No Diggity,” the Grammy-winning trio of original members Teddy Riley, Chauncey Black, and Dave Hollister get audiences bobbing to new jack swing classics such as “Booti Call” and “Before I Let You Go.”
Dru Hill: Since 1992, this group has burned up airways and headphones with sultry hits, including “Never Make a Promise,” “In My Bed,” and “How Deep Is Your Love.” Today, founder Nokio and lead singer Sisqó take the stage, with recent additions Tao, Smoke E. Digglera, and Digital Black rounding out the ensemble’s lush harmonies.
Ginuwine: With a voice as soft and smooth as a waxed mink, this singer/actor/writer/dancer exploded onto the scene with the Timbaland-produced jam “Pony” in 1996, then reigned over the charts with “Differences” and “What Could Have Been.” More recently, “Pony” was featured in Magic Mike and Ginuwine became the “G” of TGT—the soul supergroup with Tyrese and Tank.
K-Ci of Jodeci: Cedric “K-Ci” Hailey shared lead vocals with his brother JoJo in the R&B quartet Jodeci, better known as “The Bad Boys of R&B.” Together they released a number of hit singles like “Forever My Lady,” “Feenin,” and “Come and Talk to Me.”
- 702: platinum selling R&B trio behind the hit singles “Where My Girls At,” “Get it Together,” and “Steelo”
