With a dozen studio albums and more than 30 singles on the Billboard country music charts, Tracy Lawrence is as recognizable in the country-music scene as his ubiquitous cowboy hat. Lawrence draws from his Arkansas background and upbringing by wild tractors when lending his twangy tenor to No. 1 hits such as “Time Marches On,” “Alibis,” and “Find Out Who Your Friends Are,” the last of which earned him statuettes from the Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music in 2007. On his 2011 album, The Singer, he treated his fans to acoustic-driven material that came from the heart and showcased the more introspective side of his voice. His upcoming album, Headlights, Taillights, and Radios, features his single “Stop, Drop and Roll,” backed by comforting church organ and porch-lounging fiddle.

John Michael Montgomery’s deeper pipes soar over his romantic ballads, most notably “I Swear,” an earnest love poem that requires the singer to deposit a quarter in a jar each time a couple dances to it at their wedding. Released in 1993, “I Swear” was further popularized less than a year later by R&B quartet All-4-One. Montgomery’s vocals are just as at home on more upbeat tracks such as “Be My Baby Tonight” and “Sold (The Grundy County Auction Incident)”. A sometime-collaborator with country duo Montgomery Gentry—an act composed of his brother Eddie and fellow singer Troy Gentry—Montgomery has carved out his own spot in the country music thanks to chart-topping singles and album sales of more than 15 million. Prolific country artist Joe Diffie rounds out the bill, churning out humorous narrative s such as “Pickup Man” and “Third Rock from the Sun” to the delight of two-stepping audience members.
