- The big match-up: Road to the Horse 2018 World Champion Vicki Wilson battles the Road to the Horse 2016 World Champion Nick Dowers for the 2019 championship title
- The awards: $100,000 and the World Championship of Colt Starting title, The Traveler Award to the owners of the winning colt and the ranch that bred the colt, and The Jack Brainard Horsemanship Award to horseman or horsewoman who uses the best method to ride their colt
