What You’ll Do

Cheese making doesn’t have to involve milk from a hoofed animal. During this workshop—led by Chef Sabali Mpozi—you’ll use nuts, seeds, and spices to make your own wholesome, healthy raw-vegan cheeses. Each participant will put together their own cheese boards and have a chance to sample other guests’ creations.

  • The Nuts and Bolts of Vegan Cuisine
    The lesson begins with a demonstration covering various seeds and nuts, how to prepare vegan ingredients, understanding flavor profiles and textures, and techniques for cheese making.

  • Make Your Own Raw-Vegan Cheese
    Each guest constructs a custom cheese board and goes home with recipes and their own cheese wheel.
