Without the minors, Major League Baseball would run out of players and sad songs would all sound like marching-band tunes. Cheer on today's youth and tomorrow's pros with this GrouponLive deal to see a Salem-Keizer Volcanoes game at Volcanoes Stadium in Keizer. Choose between the following options:

  • For $20, you get two tickets for lower-box seating (a $40 value)
  • For $35, you get four tickets for lower-box seating (an $80 value)

For each seating option, choose from the following games against the Eugene Emeralds:

  • Friday, July 27, at 7:05 p.m., followed by a fireworks show
  • Saturday, July 28, at 7:05 p.m.
  • Sunday, July 29, at 5:05 p.m.

An eruption of power jolts across base paths and sends hanging curveballs sailing into lower orbit as the Volcanoes seek out their fifth Northwest League championship and first title since 2009. As a Class-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, the Volcanoes' past clubs have seen such MLB stars as Buster Posey, Tim Lincecum, and Pablo Sandoval slug and pitch their way through the lineup while nursing their infant gloves. This season, third baseman Joseph Rapp anchors the offense, leading the team with five home runs and 18 RBIs after 81 at-bats.

Crowds of up to 4,252 voracious Volcanoes backers flow into Volcanoes Stadium, where concession stands, a sports bar, and a kids' playground join forces to offer a stacked lineup of off-the-field extras. During the Saturday game, fans will have the chance to meet former Giants players during a free autograph session, and at 3 p.m. Sunday, Volcanoes players lead a one-hour baseball clinic for kids, teaching them how to approach baseball fundamentals and avoid trampling the dandelions in center field.
