What You’ll Do
While sweaters and scarves can keep you warm, Samantha Elkrief has her own way to stay cozy during chilly months: homemade soups. During this two-hour, hands-on class, she’ll teach you how to stir up two satisfying recipes. Both are made with vegan, gluten-free, and overall healthy ingredients.
Samantha guides you in cooking two filling soups: a hearty moroccan stew and a creamy sweet potato soup.
Ingredients are Prepped
You’ll also learn simple cooking tips and tricks, such as basic knife skills.
Time to Eat
Finish off the lesson by sitting down, chatting, and eating the two soups.

When Samantha Elkrief thinks back to childhood, she often sees the kitchen where she and her father cooked spinach pies or pots of carrot soup. While those early days of cooking seemed magical, it took some time before Samantha understood the full power of food. In her late twenties—after countless trips to doctors failed to address an illness—Samantha took charge of her wellness by changing her diet and making meals that were as healthy as they were delicious. She now helps others make similar changes, backed by a masters degree in social work from Columbia University and a coaching certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
