The Scouting Report
In their final preseason game on September 29, the Rampage squared off against the intrastate rival Texas Stars—and it wasn’t exactly peaceful. The two teams combined for a total of 50 penalty minutes, and several tussles broke out during the third period, presumably over which team carves the best mid-game snow cones. On October 18, the Rampage and Stars butt heads once again, only this time, with regular-season points on the line. A week later, the Rampage clash with another West Division foe in the Oklahoma City Barons–a team that led the division in goals a year ago. <p>
