What You'll Get
Shrimp have long been undervalued due to their small size in comparison to lobsters, tuna, and edible yachts. Pair shrimp with a more appropriate match with today’s deal to the Sans Soucy Vineyards’ Shrimp & Wine Festival on Saturday, September 10 from noon to 6 p.m. Choose between the following options:
- For $10, you get one admission and one souvenir wine glass (up to a $20 value)
- For $18, you get two admissions and two souvenir wine glasses (up to a $40 value)<p>
The Sans Soucy Vineyards’ Shrimp & Wine Festival lures guests with flavorful wine varietals, locally sourced foods, and live entertainment. Like a soda fountain filled with wine, 40 boutique reds and whites from five SoVA Wine Trail wineries give tasters an appreciation for the area’s best fruit in fermented form. Aside from vino, festival-goers sample shrimp from the Sugar Hill Sweetwater Shrimp Farm and locally raised bison, and peruse crafts and jewelry from local artisans. As taste buds swim and sift through savory flavors, live music from local bands Sick n’ Tired and The Deanie Blues Band intoxicate eardrums and ignite dance muscles. As a memory-preserving bonus, patrons leave the festival with a complimentary Shrimp & Wine Festival souvenir wine glass, good for displaying as a keepsake or turning upside down and wearing as a party hat.
Although Sans Soucy Vineyards features advance tickets online for for designated drivers, this deal still offers the best deal for most individuals.

About SoVA Wine Trail
The SoVA Wine Trail lets groups experience its 12 participating wineries through food and wine tasting events, aiming to introduce visitors to the finest vintages crafted by local residents. The events provide the opportunity to chat personally with winemakers and vineyard owners, pairing their bottled beverages with bites from local restaurants. On the east side, wine lovers stop at Molliver Vineyards, which is located on a property that dates back to the 1700s, and Bright Meadows Farm, a winery that operates out of a 117-year-old barn. On the west side, the Brooks Mill Winery doles out fruit wines, and the White Oak Mountain Meadery lets visitors taste the drink our ancient ancestors preferred to drink when they ran out of Mountain Dew.
