This is a high-intensity horror event not recommended for children. Guests under 13 may find some content too scary.

Will the rides and attractions be open during Howl-O-Scream?

Yes, several of SeaWorld’s popular rollercoasters and rides will remain open and include special effects for the event.

What is the baggage policy for Howl-O-Scream San Diego?

Bags measuring larger than 8"x5", including purses and backpacks, are NOT permitted through the Howl-O-Scream entrance. Exceptions to this policy may be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection. Any item required for medical reasons that will be screened is to be carried in a clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bag not to exceed the size of 12"x6"x12".

Does a Howl-O-Scream ticket include daytime admission to SeaWorld San Diego?

No, a Howl-O-Scream ticket does not include daytime admission to SeaWorld San Diego. It is a separately ticketed night-time event.
