Gotcha

Though penned in 1977, Gotcha may be more vital today than at any time in its history. The heartbreaking drama, written by Barrie Keeffe, tells the tale of a 16-year-old high school student—known to the audience only as “the Kid”—as he fights against structural systems that have denied him the opportunity for happiness. On the last day of school, he takes control over his destiny—by holding his teachers hostage. The production marks the directorial debut of legendary Russian actor Alexey Serebryakov, star of the Oscar-nominated and Golden Globe-winning Leviathan. The performance stars three-time Dora Award nominee Jakob Ehman, plus Katie Lawson, Andrew Moodie, and Trevor Pease. Gotcha is not recommended for audiences under 16 years old.
