Silver Spurs Rodeo: Third-Annual “Monster Bulls”
There will be no opening acts, no side shows, and no messing around at Silver Spurs Rodeo’s Third-Annual “Monster Bulls” event. This show is all about rodeo’s main event: professional bull-riding. Throughout the evening, riders will try to tame colossal, bucking bulls, straining to hold their mount for the coveted eight seconds. Spectators can take in the action from the indoor confines of Silver Spurs Arena, an 8,300-seat facility with unobstructed views of the action, and can scope out the venue for any stray cowboy hats.

Silver Spurs Rodeo
Formed in 1941, the nonprofit Silver Spurs Riding Club enthralls audiences with skilled horsemanship and bull-riding rigor that culminates at the Silver Spurs Rodeo, which has been bucking for more than six decades. The bull-riding, steer-roping performances have been an annual fixture at the Silver Spurs Rodeo Arena since 1951, drawing in cowboys and cowgirls from the Sunshine State by the thousands. The rodeo received a facelift in 2002, when they constructed the new Silver Spurs Arena, providing a first-rate venue for rodeos as well as concerts and clandestine sock-hops for teenage horses.
