During the 2012 Musical Chairs World Championship, more than 8,000 participants are expected to boogie to the whims of a DJ as they eye up a seat to snag. Musical sitters will assemble during four separate waves, hoping to break the Guinness World Record for the Largest Game of Musical Chairs ever played since the birthday party of the world’s most popular fourth-grader. When the seat-snagging action comes to a close, the winner will be crowned with a $10,000 cash prize.
When they’re not participating in the main event, guests can pay an additional $5 for an unlimited pass to indulge in amusements such as a mechanical bull ride, summer tubing, a Zorb globe ride, or a 30-foot free fall into a massive stunt bag. While snacking on concessions (not included with this deal), guests can catch an earful of live music from festival openers including U2 tribute band Joshua Tree and dance-rock darlings Endway.
