- The Plot Joe and Jerry (Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon at their funniest) are two jazz musicians unlucky enough to witness the St. Valentine's Day Massacre of 1929. Desperate to escape from the mob, they join a woman's jazz band headed for Miami...disguised as women.
