What You’ll Do
Three things are required to create transform glass into art: a torch, a kiln, and an ample imagination. During this two-hour workshop, professional glass artist Mark Todd teaches you how to combine all three to create your own shimmering masterworks.
Mark shares tips on lampworking, a unique style of torch-based glass manipulation.
With one-on-one assistance, create colorful beads that are perfect for jewelry and decoration.
Glass works cool overnight in the kiln. When they’re ready to head home, you can pick them up or arrange to have them shipped to your home.

Mark Todd, Glass Artist
To Mark Todd, sculpting glass is a lot like playing jazz. Improvisation takes center stage as he blows and shapes the molten material into pieces of art—and he always keeps good tunes playing while he works. This passion, which he so obviously displays, was honed over more than a decade spent in Brooklyn and Boston studios, and he now passes it onto others in both Texas and Massachusetts.
