For more than 25 years, The St. Louis Funny Bone has hosted national touring acts and local comedic talent in its cozy club for diverse 90-minute standup sets. Emmy-nominated Anthony Jeselnik (March 15–17) takes a reprieve from roasting celebrities such as Donald Trump and Charlie Sheen to regale audiences with his dark, intensely focused mini tales about his romantic relationships and family. The dapper, bespectacled Moshe Kasher takes residence on the stage on April 11–15 to dish out sarcasms on narcotics and possibly deliver comic nuggets from his album Everyone You Know is Going to Die, and Then You Are, named one of the top 20 comedy albums by iTunes in 2009. Up to 300 attendees per show absorb the hilarity; the club proffers alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, along with appetizers such as pizza slices, chicken wings, and toasted ravioli stuffed with tiny clouds of laughing gas.
The St. Louis Funny Bone’s rates fluctuate throughout the week.
