What You’ll Do
Sometimes an accessory is not just an accessory. It can make or break an outfit. Turn up the flair in your wardrobe in a sophisticated and frugal way by designing a one-of-a-kind accessory from vintage items or things you already own like a sweater, scarf or print blouse. During Stacy Reeds hands on workshop, you will choose one accessory to design and repurpose into a rare statement piece. Students will utilize and learn savvy design techniques to help them infuse vintage stye into modern world.
Snack on some light refreshments as Stacy presents examples of repurposed vintage and modern pieces, and stockpile ideas for your own.
Add Sparkle or Glamour to Your Piece
Use Stacy’s supplies—including headbands, hair clips, ribbons, vintage buttons, sequins, glue guns, scissors, and more—to amplify each piece’s existing beauty. Use either a textile of your own or an item from Stacy as a base.
Embrace Your Creativity
No two items will look alike at the end of the class, and that’s a good thing. Stacy nurtures each student’s ideas, providing help and guidance when needed.
