What You'll Get
Though it is illegal for pranksters to shout about nonexistent fires in a theater, shrieking after an encounter with an underseat gum wad is permissible. Shout about what’s on stage instead with today’s deal: for $20, you get admission to one showing of The Blonde, the Brunette, and the Vengeful Redhead or Let the Sunshine In at the Starbright Summer Festival July 20–August 21 at the Imperial Theatre in Sarnia (a $37.17 value before fees, or up to a $42 value, including ticketing fees and HST). Seating is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, but also may be reserved by calling the box office prior to the show.
Earning praise from the Sarnia Observer, the Starbright Summer Festival stages a lively quartet of shows, two of which customers may choose from, over five weeks. Theatregoers can choose from these performances on the calendar and allow their inner Gene Kellys to tap to an energetic blend of singing, dancing, and acting. Good cheer infiltrates the theatre as the cast of Let the Sunshine In croons gleeful tunes by superstars such as Celine Dion, Shania Twain, Joni Mitchell, and John Kenneth Galbraith, while The Blonde, the Brunette, and the Vengeful Redhead follows a hapless housewife’s scuffle with her stylist.
The acoustically endowed Imperial Theatre seats nearly 600 visitors in its two-storey facility and accommodates wheelchairs with balcony seating. Drinks from a fully stocked bar (not included in this deal) on each floor keep whistles comfortably wet for singing along, cheering, or rapping a Hamlet soliloquy during intermission.
