Suncoast Jazz Classic
Silver: the festival’s anniversary, which means this year’s festivities will celebrate 25 years of live jazz.
Gold: the prize deserved by each of the talented 18 acts, who come from all over the country, and have been selected by Suncoast’s discerning festival curators.
Brass instrumentation gets the spotlight at the show of trombonist Bill Allred, one of the festival’s special guests. Other special guests include singer Pepper, and double bassist John Lamb. Bands include Barnaby Coast Show Band, Cornet Chop Suey, and The Fat Babies. Sunday’s lineup includes all the artists listed here, with the exception of Theo Valentin and Nate Najar.
