What You'll Get

Standup comedians typically draw from real life, such as bad relationships or how the zoo is crazy. Life's a riot with this GrouponLive deal to a Sunday-night comedy show at Marquee 15 in Corona. Choose between the following options:

  • For $27, you get a comedy night for two (up to a $58 total value).
  • For $50, you get a comedy night for four (up to a $116 total value).

For each person, the comedy night includes:

  • One general-admission ticket to any Sunday Night COMEDI.E. show, held every Sunday evening at 8 p.m. (a $15 value)
  • One drink from the menu, which counts toward the club’s two-item-per-person minimum (up to a $12 value)

If all one needed to survive was to eat, drink, and be merry, they’d never leave Corona’s Marquee 15. The massive performance venue and dinner theater keeps its concert stage stocked with entertainers while savory fragrances escape the kitchen and libations flow from the venue’s two bars. To stave off Monday’s doldrums, Marquee 15 introduces the Sunday Night COMEDI.E. show, where nationally known headlining comedians converge to milk every last laugh from the weekend.

The August 12 debut show kicks off with the family-man humor of Ron Pearson, who’s been seen on That ‘70s Show and The Drew Carey Show when he’s not juggling atop a unicycle. Observational comedian and Second City improv graduate Jeff Capri riffs on pop culture and politics in a style that’s both wired and nonchalant. August 19 features USO touring veteran Danny Villalpando, who delights with his autobiographical anecdotes, and the comedy of Steve Smith. All shows are hosted by Jeff Capri or Bob Perkell, who expounds on the joys of sobriety and shows no mercy in his quest for spit-takes. Marquee 15’s [drink menu] provides antidotes for throats parched from guffaws, with rock-star-themed drinks such as the Mick Jagger martini and the Jimi Hendrix rum cocktail.

Although Marquee 15 features beer and wine specials during the comedy shows, this Groupon represents the best value for cocktails.
