Take-Down Homelessness Wrestling Event
A joint event featuring grapplers from Steel Domain Wrestlers and Legends of the Squared Circle, Take-Down Homelessness will showcase canvas-shaking body slams, bone-breaking submissions, and turnbuckle acrobatics. The lineup features wrestling stars including Honky Tonk Man, once the WWE Intercontinental Heavyweight Champion, and Adam Pearce, who has worn more bedazzled belts in his championship-laden career than a leather crafter who jogs at night a lot. The night will let spectators cheer and jeer both heroes and heels, including "America's Hero" Sgt. Ledbetter and The Un-Americans.
Homeless Families Foundation
Since 1986, the Homeless Families Foundation (HFF) has worked to help those struggling with homelessness in the greater Columbus, Ohio area. In 2012, the nonprofit organization helped 231 families—including 509 children—overcome the obstacles contributing to their homelessness. In addition to helping at-risk families find permanent housing, they also conduct afterschool and summer education programs for children in need.
