The Scouting Report
The Legends return to the hardwood this fall for another season of fast-paced action in the D-League’s Central Division. Though the team narrowly missed the playoffs in 2013-14, they put up an impressive 112.6 points per game, the fourth-best in the D-League. With this flex season pass, fans can catch up to 24 games throughout the season, share tickets with friends, or save a seat to to stockpile a mountain of nachos.
The Texas Legends have specialized in making basketball history ever since they moved to Frisco in 2010. That first season, they appointed Nancy Lieberman head coach, making her the first woman ever to coach a men’s professional basketball team. A few seasons later they made similar strides in naming Eduardo Najera the first Mexican-born head coach in the NBA family. Though the Legends have made history on the sidelines, their on-the-court performance is focused on the future—not by wearing spacesuits over their jerseys, but by cultivating new talent for their NBA affiliate and fellow Lone Star resident, the Dallas Mavericks.
