The Great Sweater Run - Calgary
Clad in their finest holiday attire, two-legged and four-legged runners alike take off at South Glenmore Park before winding through the city on their chosen course, with plenty of water stations and heated washrooms along the way. At the end of the race, participants are greeted with well-deserved refreshments including muffins and hot chocolate. This year, the Great Sweater Run is raising funds for the Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada, which aims to assist children struggling with life-threatening illnesses.
