Steve Trevino has come a long ways since his first gig in the comedy industry: serving as a doorman at the Addison Improv. His unique comedic voice took him from the entryway to the stage, and soon he was hitting the road with the likes of Carlos Mencia, Pablo Francisco, and the late Freddy Soto. And the Texas native shows no signs of slowing down—he has appeared on such national platforms as Comedy Central, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and Comics Unleashed. Trevino showcases his finely-polished skills during live sets, reflecting on topics ranging from imbibing to relationships.
The Improv Comedy Club
For nearly 50 years, the Improv chain has incubated standup talent—notable alumni such as Jerry Seinfeld, Adam Sandler, and Robin Williams all conquered The Improv stage before getting their big breaks. The Chicago location carries on the Improv’s tradition of catching rising stars before they turn into supernovas spewing dangerous molten punch lines with a calendar of up-and-comers and nationally touring talent.
