What You'll Get

Without music, concerts wouldn’t exist and funk would just be the smell emanating from an old sock filled with corn. • For $31, you get one balcony ticket (up to a $43 value, including all fees) and a postshow meet and greet with the performers (a $20 value; up to a $63 total value).
  • For $37, you get one grand-tier ticket (up to a $54 value, including all fees) and a postshow meet and greet with the performers (a $20 value; up to a $74 total value).<p>

Motown veterans The Temptations continue to tour the globe after five decades of enchanting crowds with their five-part harmonies and sharp choreography. From honey-sweet pop tracks such as “My Girl” to psychedelic-influenced grooves such as “Cloud Nine,” the group’s smooth soul sound and exultant melodies have withstood the test of time and numerous lineup changes. Clad in matching suits and lobster bibs, the band members snap their fingers and slide side to side while belting out tracks from their Billboard-crushing catalog, including tunes from their latest release, Still Here.

Formed in the 1960s as a doo-wop quintet, The Manhattans reinvented themselves as sweet soul balladeers during the 1970s. The transformation increased the longevity of their career, allowing them to move past the death of lead singer George Smith. After the addition of Gerald Alston, who helped pen their successful slow grooves, including “Kiss and Say Goodbye,” the group became a fixture on R&B’s Top 10 charts. In concert, a new lineup containing two original members—Alston and Blue Lovett—croons and sways through classic cuts and more recent material, such as the sweetly sorrowful 2003 breakup ballad “Turn Out the Stars.”
