  • The Backstory: The new musical, in its own words, is “inspired by one of the most significant yet all-but-ignored attacks against the LGBTQ community,” the deadly 1973 attack on the UpStairs Lounge.
  • The Cast: Frenchie Davis, the Broadway star and soul-pop singer who got her start on American Idol, joins Nathan Lee Graham of Zoolander fame as well as up-and-comers Jeremy Pope and Taylor Frey in the musical created by Max Vernon.
