Toby Tyler Circus
The Legacy: Toby Tyler left home to join the circus way back in 1880, when James Otis Kaler penned Toby Tyler, or Ten Weeks with a Circus. He then returned to the circus in 1960 when Walt Disney Productions produced a cinematic take on the boy and his monkey pal.
The Modern Incarnation: Today Toby joins the circus in real life thanks to a live action three-ring event that sees the boy played by rising TV star Lance Sterling.
The Sights and Sounds: Tumbling acrobats, cavorting clowns, high-flying aerialists, trick horses and camels, and standup comedy set the stage for Toby’s adventure.
