For most of us, the only way to experience the majesty of Africa's incredible animals is from the edge of an enclosure, but not anymore. Aerial Adventure at Toledo Zoo lets visitors soar high above Africa! exhibit thanks to a series of thrilling features. Visitors will climb from ground level to giraffe level to high above the trees—topping out at more than 80 feet.

Along the way, they'll traverse the Sky Bridge, a sturdy footbridge that promises views of the habitat's wild residents. A ropes course strewn with swinging-log crossings and horizontal climbs challenges minds and muscles alike. From there, guests careen over the Masai giraffes, Watusi cattle, and wildebeest, ziplining some 760 feet across the park. When it comes time to come down, those brave enough to try can then jump down 30 feet—attached to a controlled-descent device—for the Quick Jump, or really test their mettle on Flight Line, which drops them a dizzying 80 feet back to the ground.

Each Aerial Adventure includes access to Toledo Zoo's other attractions as well. Families can visit the polar bears and slippery seals at the Arctic Encounter or hop down to the zoo's historic south side exhibitions, where they'll find the newly renovated aquarium which houses 3000+ aquatic animals in 178,000 gallons of water. Kids can be on the lookout for dozens of exotic species, from grey wolves to saltwater crocodiles to red pandas. Or, they can ride their favorite animal on the Toledo Zoo's African carousels.
