What You'll Get
Contrary to popular belief, all the world is not a stage—sometimes people just say things to get attention. See an actual stage with this deal to see Tom Chapin and Friends, presented by Music by the Lake at Ferro Pavilion on Sunday, July 29, at 4 p.m. Doors open at 2:30 p.m. Children younger than 3 are admitted free. Choose between the following options:
- For $5, you get one children’s ticket for general-admission seating (a $10 value).
- For $7, you get one adult ticket for general-admission seating (a $15 value).<p>
The nearby waters of Geneva Lake break upon a picturesque shoreline as the kid-friendly ditties of three-time Grammy Award winner Tom Chapin echo throughout Ferro Pavilion. Accompanied by musicians Jon Cobert and Michael Mark, Chapin returns to the Music by the Lake concert series to entertain children and adults alike with his banjo-driven tunes. Fueled by audience participation, his Irish-inspired melodies showcase narratives about caring for the environment, safely navigating neighborhoods, and how to balance a checkbook on your head.
Built in 2008, Ferro Pavilion uses its natural surroundings to bring its audience an experience of outdoor entertainment more exceptional than the tired magic shows squirrels perform. Mature trees sway overhead, and the terrace section curves along the theater’s edge for fine views of both the stage and the lake’s waters, which peek through the leaves.
