TORC: The Off Road Championship

Action sports and motorsports aren’t the only things that collide at TORC: The Off Road Championship—the trucks have plenty of collisions, too. Later this month, TORC will continue its 2015 season during Rumble on the River, the third and fourth installments in the competition’s 16-round countrywide tour. Both rounds will unfold at Gateway Motorsports Park, where 900-horsepower trucks will barrel a dirt track fraught with huge jumps, high-speed sections, and banana peels.

Behind the wheels of those powerful rides, TORC’s talented drivers will attempt to get an early jump in the points standings. The field of competitors is especially impressive this year: it includes PRO 4WD reigning-champ Johnny Greaves, returning champion Ricky Johnson, and current points leader Scott Douglas, who spoke prior to the 2015 season about the sport’s increasing levels of speed and aggression. In addition, Fox Sports covers all of TORC’s events, showcasing the fast-flying vehicles for fans around the country and football scouts in search of a new wide receiver.
