Enemy of the Reich: The Noor Inayat Khan Story

Trailer for Enemy of the Reich: The Noor Inayat Khan Story

Raised in Paris by a Muslim Indian father and an American mother, Noor Inayat Khan was instilled with a deep respect for different cultures and beliefs. It was this respect that drove her to become a radio operator for the French Resistance during World World II. She fought the Third Reich’s reign by transmitting Morse code messages to England—saving many lives while putting her own at risk.

“Her story deserves telling,” says co-executive producer Michael Wolfe, “because it pitted her worldview respect for all faiths against Hitler’s ideology of ethnic and religious extermination.” The docudrama celebrate’s Noor’s life, as director Rob Gardner weaves together historical footage, scholarly interviews, and reenactments to vividly illustrate a true tale of bravery and defiance from a courageous young woman. Executive producer, Alex Kronemer, will introduce both screenings.
