The Scouting Report

With just a month left in the 2015–16 campaign, the Sabres are hoping to finish the season strong behind center Ryan O’Reilly. The 24-year-old Ontario native has been locked in since the puck dropped in October: he leads the team in points and assists, and in January, he earned a trip to his first All Star game. Alongside O’Reilly, youngsters Jack Eichel and Sam Reinhart have held their own in their first full seasons as pros—in fact, Eichel now leads the Sabres in goals. The trio certainly has Buffalo looking forward to a bright future, much like a Zamboni driver who just received his learner’s permit.
