Warren Miller's "Ticket to Ride"
For more than 60 years, Warren Miller Entertainment has blazed a trail in action sports cinematography, constructing for viewers a window into some of the world's most majestic landscapes and the lives of the people who conquer them. This year's chapter–64th in the iconic series–celebrates the arrival of winter with a heart-pumping expedition around the planet.
Without ever leaving Pueblo Memorial Hall, audience members will travel to the peaks of Mt. Eiger in Switzerland, Troll Peninsula in Iceland, and the exotic, snow-blanketed wonderlands of Kazakhstan and Greenland–both rumored to be the home of Santa Claus. Striking as they may be, these sites aren't the film's only stars. Cameras also showcase the high-flying escapades of some of the globe's top snowboarders and skiers. Cast members include World Cup champions and Olympians, such as Seth Wescott and Julia Mancuso, as well as legendary ski mountaineers, such as Chris Davenport.
