Robert was a terrific guide for Arlington National Cemetery. He was very knowledgeable and lead at a pace that we could manage since we had an older man in our group. We were really blessed to observe a very special ceremony at the changing of the guard at the tomb of the unknown soldier. The soldier going off duty was at the end of his 21 month tour and so we saw his mother there ans part of his departure. She received a rose and he also laid a rose at each of the three gravesites. Our guide said in all the years he has been a guy he’s only seen this ceremony one other time. It was a very solemn, educational and worthwhile tour.
