Although not one of the five traditional senses, a sense of humor is the only thing that allows humans to answer knock-knocks at the door. You’re there with this GrouponLive deal to see Jay Mohr at Wiseguys Comedy Club in West Valley City. For $25, you get two general-admission tickets (a $53.88 value). Wiseguys requires a one-item food or drink purchase per customer, not included in this Groupon. Choose from the following showtimes:

  • Friday, June 8, at 7:30 p.m.

A standup performer since he was 16, Jay Mohr harnessed the spotlight's attention to become a featured performer on the venerable Saturday Night Live in the mid-1990s before embarking on a storied movie and television career that saw him on such as hits as Jerry Maguire, Hereafter, and Gary Unmarried. On Wiseguys' brick-backed stage, Mohr may wax philosophic about Scottish drinking habits or unleash the uncanny impressions of Christopher Walken, Robert De Niro, and Al Pacino that he honed on stage and while hiding behind dressing-room mirrors. When not hosting radio shows or making memorable cameos, Mohr puts his life on paper, authoring books such as Gasping for Airtime, an honest account of his SNL years, and No Wonder My Parents Drank, a lighthearted look at fatherhood.

Even if you don't know the comedian, the shows are worth going to. it's always a good laugh

The earlier show allows you to enter the theater early. We got there 30 min before the show and had a good seating selection. The food was decent "bar food". The show was great!
