What You’ll Do
When the Crossroads Tea Room closes up shop, saxophonist Woody Witt and his quartet welcome a select group of guests to enter the cafe for a private, two-hour jazz concert. Between sets, attendees can mingle with the performers. Each guest receives herb-crusted beef tenderloin with sherry mushroom sauce served on a bed of rice, sauteed green beans, and a complimentary glass of champagne.
Hear Original Jazz
Woody Witt and his quartet—consisting of saxophone, guitar, bass, and drums—perform two 45-minute sets of original material.
Take the Music Home
Woody will have CDs available for the special price of $10, and can autograph the albums upon request.
Bring Your Own Wine
You’ll receive one complimentary alcoholic beverage, but feel free to bring your own bottle of wine as well. A corkage fee will apply.
Saxophonist Woody Witt has a doctorate in music performance, but his accomplishments as a musician speak—or perhaps sing—for themselves. His recordings have received national airplay and landed on the CMJ and Jazzweek charts, and his polished sound can be heard at venues such as Cezanne and accompanying the Houston Symphony Orchestra. Offstage, Woody shares his love of music by teaching at area colleges.
