Tricky redemption on tickets. That should be more noticeable on the Groupon offer. Expiration date only a few days after purchase is not clear at all.

What You'll Get

Many theatergoers claim that life imitates art, which can be frustrating when they pause arguments for intermissions or direct drivers to turn “stage left” at stop signs. Learn to navigate the theatrical world with today’s GrouponLive deal: for $69, you get a live-theater package at the Zach Theatre (up to a $165 value). The package includes one ticket with Section One seating to each of the following shows, performed on the Kleberg Stage:

Guests attend the shows over three separate visits, choosing one of the following days and times:

  • Wednesdays at 8 p.m.
  • Thursdays at 8 p.m.
  • Fridays at 8 p.m.
  • Saturdays at 8 p.m.
  • Sundays at 2:30 p.m.<p>

Now in its 79th season, Zach Theatre produces more than 500 performances throughout the year on two cutting-edge stages. Nationally known productions and original, commissioned works come to life through top-notch acoustics and lighting more vibrant than the sun’s best lantern. Next to Normal , the 2010 Pulitzer Prize winner for drama, navigates the emotional terrain of a family in a work the Washington Post praised as “the future of sophisticated American musicals.” In his satire Dividing the Estate, Texas scribe Horton Foote skewers a family of greedy gossipers whose scandals inside life’s fishbowl could perturb even the most evil of vengeful kings. As the Zach Theatre’s biggest musical of the year, Xanadu rolls out campy comedy on four wheels. Spoofing the 1980s film staring Olivia Newton-John and Gene Kelly, the musical chronicles the mythical and magical inspiration behind the first roller disco in Venice Beach.

Though Zach Theatre sometimes features a discounted price, this deal still offers the best deal available.
