Students new to CrossFit training meet up to three weeks per week for Foundations classes. During each session, instructors familiarize students with new and foundational CrossFit skills and movements, while demonstrating how to lift weights safely and efficiently. Upon completion of the Foundations course, students may attend an unlimited number of regular Crossfit classes throughout the week for two weeks During these sessions, instructors lead high-intensity routines that combine gymnastics, weightlifting, sprinting, and jumping.
Only students with at least four months of CrossFit are exempt from Foundations training. Foundations Classes are offered Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Glass City Crossfit
Hanging rings, free weights, and fitness equipment accentuate the fitness-savvy space that is Glass City Crossfit. Exercisers of all ages build strength and work off weight in constantly varied sessions that can include anything from kettlebells and medicine balls to running and climbing. For small groups looking to reach their physical-fitness goals, boot-camp sessions combine workouts with nutritional training.
