If I know I want to do the class with a friend but not sure which friend, can I buy 2 for myself and change to their name once I know who I will do it with? Or should I buy 1 for me and 1 for a friend and potential change the name of the friend?

Q:

Is there a minimum age for students? Thanks!

Elisabeth K.  asked on  Feb 27, 2012

A:

The fusing and mosaic classes use a tool called a nipper. It is rather large for any child under 12. You know your child. The stained glass classes are limited in age to a mature 8 year old. I have taught children as young as 6. Focus is sometimes a problem with youngsters. Again, you know your child.

Q:

Do you have to take the introductory class before you can sign up for the intermediate stained glass class?

Patti Z.  asked on  Feb 26, 2012

A:

Each class is intended for students as they progress through the various processes of design and fabrication. It is best to begin in the intro classes and then proceed to the more advanced classes. It is also allowable to purchase 2 certificates and use one for the beginning class and the other for an advanced class.

Q:

The rules say one per visit. Is that a per person limit? I wanted to buy for several friends to go at the same time, just want to make sure that we can all book the same day using the prepaid option. Thank you.

Kathy H.  asked on  Feb 26, 2012

A:

We limit our classes to 8 persons. We often book many friends together. We have also booked entire classes to friends or family.

Q:

Are glass and supplies including in the $47 for the fusion and mosaic classes? Thanks

Barbara J.  asked on  Feb 26, 2012

A:

All materials for the classes are included. If you are taking an advanced mosaic class and you are doing either a house number with brass numbers or a table top. the table and numbers are not included.
