The Zombie Run for the Heart 5K starts at 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 27 at the Regal Glen Stadium 10. There will be both zombies and human racers. Runners will wear a flag football belt as they run or walk to the finish line and try to survive the zombie hoard. At the finish line, a live DJ, fire pit, and food will welcome everyone back to the land of the living.
The next day, Monday October 28, starting at 3 p.m., five Halloween films and five new releases will grace the screens at Regal Glen Stadium 10, followed by a midnight screening the the Rocky Horror Picture Show. The festival will also include a tasting from 30 different local restaurants from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Proceeds from both events go to benefit a variety of local charities including Helping Hands and Sister Paulanne’s Needy Fund.
