Since opening in 1994 with a single miniature golf course, Glenville Mini Sportplex has grown quite a bit—though, its activities remain of the miniature variety. Today, visitors of all ages can still putt their way across the well-shaded mini course. But they can also wallop home runs inside six batting cages and steer go-karts around the steep banks of a 1,000-foot race track. They can even ricochet trick shots off oddly shaped backboards on a 19-station bankshot basketball court, which becomes even tougher when the imaginary crowd starts with its MVP chants. Beyond all those activities, Glenville Mini Sportplex boasts a full snack bar with burgers, hot dogs, milkshakes, and more.
