What You'll Get
Catching a cab is a tricky endeavor: One must extend one's arm, hold it steady, and then carefully swing the butterfly net so that it doesn't bend the cab's antenna. Catch a bigger, more beautiful bug with today's Groupon for limousine services from G-Limos. Customers are responsible for their own transportation to G-Limos' pickup locations, which will be given when making reservations. Personal pickups are available for private groups for an additional fee (call for a quote). Choose between the following options:
- For $54, you get one seat on a five-hour Wine & Dine Evening Package (a $110 total value per person). This package includes a ride in a stretch limo or party bus, depending on the size of the group (a $70 value), to a 30-minute educational seminar on wine (a $10 value), a snack basket with sparkling cider and bottled water (a $10 value), a box of chocolates (a $5 value), a wine-tips handout (a $5 value), a custom logo wine glass (a $10 value), and a ride to a restaurant of your choice. This Groupon does not include the cost of dinner.
- For $54, you get one seat on a Five-Hour Wine Tour (a $110 total value per person). This package includes a ride in a stretch limo or party bus (depending on the size of the group) to your choice of up to three wineries around Yamhill County (a $70 value), a gourmet appetizer platter (a $10 value), a snack basket with sparkling cider and bottled water (a $10 value), a box of chocolates (a $5 value), a wine-tips handout (a $5 value), and a custom logo wine glass (a $10 value).
Smaller groups will ride with other smaller groups in a party bus, while larger groups will ride in a stretch limo.
G-Limos whisks groups of up to 16 passengers off their feet and on to their destinations in sleek, voluminous limousines and party buses seven days a week. From 5 p.m. onward, the Wine & Dine Evening Package luxuriously transports soon-to-be diners to the Windrose Conference & Meeting Center in Newberg for an educational seminar on wine, where they are taught fundamentals such as proper tasting techniques and how to break a wine bottle over someone's head without injuring more than three people. Patrons can then have the limo rush them to a restaurant of their choice (dinner not included in this deal).
Meanwhile, the Wine Tour offers riders the same amenities as its wine-and-dine sibling, plus a gourmet appetizer tray of cheeses, seasonal fruits, and crackers, but replaces the seminar and dinner with a cruising session to up to three wineries (tasting fees not included in this deal). Both packages include a custom-logo wine glass and wine-tips handout, inspiring passengers to continue their winescapades at the end of the voyage. A booking concierge is available to help plan and book your trip to area wineries. Tour times depend on winery hours, which are typically from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. or noon to 5 p.m., and pickup time is usually between 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. While traveling around the Portland area in style, passengers can imbibe their own beverages while singing sea shanties along with the vehicle’s built-in satellite radio.
