What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?

glō Skincare Studio & Day Spa is conveniently located in the North Hills of Pittsburgh and offers a full range of outcome focused high end spa treatments based on real science. These services include skin care treatments for the face and body, massage for relaxation and pain management, waxing and spray tans. We recently added wellness services which include energy based treatment modalities to enhance wellness. All of our services are customized specifically for each client and delivered with the highest quality of customer service in a relaxed and welcoming setting.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?

I wanted to combine my nursing background and experience as an Esthetician to help others improve their appearance and health by offering services, products and education that would make a real difference in their skin. I wanted to provide a true one on one treatment experience, where clients feels listened to, comfortable and relaxed, and where we work together to improve the health of their skin and wellbeing.

What do you love most about your job?

My clients! Every person that I see is unique in their personality, skincare or wellness needs. I love having the opportunity to get to know each person, support and aid them with their self-care goals and know that I helped make their day a little better.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?

Clients tell me that they start relaxing the minute they arrive at the spa and leave looking and feeling rejuvenated. That is the whole goal of a spa visit!
