What You'll Get
As anyone who has accidentally called a boss "mom" knows, being able to tell who's who is vital to the preservation of dignity. Put life into focus with this Groupon.
$2,500 for All-Laser LASIK or PRK Vision-Correction Surgery on Both Eyes ($5,000 Value)
During both PRK and LASIK treatments, lasers correct refractive errors with 10- to 15-minute surgeries followed by minimal downtime. Both treatments can correct nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, and presbyopia, as well as boost hindsight beyond 20/20. Unlike LASIK, photorefractive keratectomy⎯or PRK⎯removes the eye's epithelial tissue, which is then allowed to grow back. Procedures include one year of follow-up visits, in which doctors supervise the healing of the eye and describe ways to repurpose old glasses into fashionable earrings. A thorough consultation and exam determine candidacy for surgery; those who do not qualify will receive a full refund.
The Fine Print
Promotional value expires Jan 31, 2013. Amount paid never expires. Limit 1 per person, may buy 2 additional as gifts. Appointment required. Valid only at listed location. Valid only for patients with no prior history of refractive surgery. Must complete consultation within 2 months of purchase. Consultation required; non-candidates will be refunded. Extra $600 fee for custom wavefront procedure. Merchant is solely responsible to purchasers for the care and quality of the advertised goods and services.
About Global Laser Vision
Football fans owe a thank-you to Dr. Farzad Yaghouti. The doctor's LASIK expertise made it possible for linebacker Shaun Phillips to achieve 20/15 vision, energizing the athlete’s NFL career for the foreseeable future. Dr. Yaghouti, Global Laser Vision's medical director, has performed more than 75,000 LASIK operations and lectured on the procedure at national conferences and on Fox 6 News’s San Diego Living.
The doctors at Global Laser Vision meet with patients for preliminary exams during which they discuss the pros and cons of treatments and perform numerous tests and measurements. Global Laser Vision also removes growths from eyes, also known as pterygium surgery, using surgical methods far more effective than simply blinking really fast.
